I have always wanted to sign HengBoi up for a trial but due to COVID-19, all classes was suspended. With the gradual reopening in phase 2, I managed to slot him in a class today at the bedok branch (he’s 13 months old). The trial class is $42.80 for 30 mins.
For hygiene reasons, the school do not allow disposable diapers (?leakage?) So I purchased a snugly fit reusable swim from them at a reasonable price of $15. Due to COVID – only one adult can accompany one baby to the session. The trial session is 30 minutes and all I can say is dont expect too much from it. The instructor mentioned different babies has different water confidence level, and mine just happened to have low level haha. I thought he might be able to kick some water but HengBoi spent the entire session clinging on to his father. It was only after the trial session that he warmed up and decided to play water..
Throughout the session, I stayed at the reception area (can still see the pool) and could only enter post session to help shower baby. There were showering basins for babies and showering cubicles for adults. There was no hardsell after the session and just a follow up whatsapp message few days later. I felt swimming lessons instills water confidence in HengBoi and is an important life skill. Hence, we decided to sign him up for lessons. We choose wild wild wet outlet because the fees comes with free entrance to WWW! Shall update at next post!!
