Ingredients
- 2 cups raspberry or strawberry
- 2 tbsp water for fresh fruit, 1 tbsp water for frozen food
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Steps
- Combine fruit, water and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat and let it boil
- The fruit will start releasing liquid. Reduce the heat the simmer for 7 minutes. Use a fork to mash up large chunks of fruit
- Remove from heat and stir in chia seeds
- Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 minutes, letting the chia seeds soak up the liquid.
- Once cooled completely, transfer the jam to a glass container.
- Store the jam in the fridge for 5-7 days or freezer for 3 months
