Lunch at Hai Zhen Huo Seafood Restaurant
We had a pit stop at Nanfang’ao Fishing Port 南方澳渔港 for lunch at Hai Zhen Huo Seafood Restaurant. Nanfang’ao Fishing Port is a fishing harbor in Su’ao Township, Yilan County. Nanfang’ao is the third-largest fishing harbor in Taiwan and is an important part of the local economy.
Nanfang’ao Fishing Port 南方澳渔港If I won NT50,000 instead, I would have ordered many lobsters hahaI like it that their pricing are transparent instead of indicating market price like what most restaurant will do and get a bill shock after.Pricing indicated upfront. The dishes are so fresh and deliciousHuge prawnsSunfish

Received TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Traveler’s Choice for families and voted as the top one mouthwatering roasted duck cuisine in Taiwan
My sister highly recommended Red Lantern Restaurant in the hotel, and we decided to make a reservation via their online booking portal, which is highly recommended as the restaurant is very popular.
We went with the set menu for 4 – Cherry Valley Roasted Duck Cuisine in Five Ways, which cost NT$5288, which was about SGD222. It was not exactly cheap, but the duck was worth every penny. The set was good for 5 adults and 2 kids.
One of the standout dishes at Red Lantern is their famous Cherry Valley Roasted Duck Cuisine. The kids surprisingly liked the sliced duck meat wrapped in scallion crepe.Such huge abalone!Duck tongue, wings, and flippers.Shredded Duck, egg and vegetables with special sweet and sour chilli sauce
We were very full and was so glad that we were staying in the hotel tonight. Of course, hengboi went back to take his car for a spin, and the poor me have to chase after his car while carrying hengboi2.
