When he first started solids, i gave him pre-packaged jar purchased off the shelf as it is just introduction to food or steamed single food purees like sweet potato , carrot or pumpkin purees. However at 7 months, he started wanting more variety, hence it’s time to cook haha.
My Meal Planner for weekdays is standard, given that he attends IFC and I need to go to work. Hence, ingredients need to be prepared during the weekends and I will just throw into the rice cooker with all the ingredients and stock base (pre-prepared). I also prepared some purees and freeze it so that I can just thaw it and feed on days that i’m too busy to cook. See Congee post.
