Ingredients
For the Soup Base
- Handful of Ikan Bilis
- 5 Dried Scallop
- Three red dates, pitted
For the porridge
- 1/4 Rice
- half Carrot
For the Pork
- 70g of minced pork
- Seasoned with Lilo whitebait powder
Instructions
- Soak the dried scallop in warm water for 30 minutes till soft (so that you can tear the scallops into their smaller muscle fibers to add to the rice cooker)
- Add carrot and rice to the rice cooker
- Combine red dates, ikan bilis in a soup bag and add to rice cooker
- Transfer the scallop (and the soaked water) to the rice cooker.
- 10 minutes before the porridge is done, add it the minced pork
