The Parenthood Indoor Playground at Toppen Shopping Centre – A Fun-Filled Playtime for Kids!

If you’re looking for an indoor playground in Johor Bahru to let your little ones burn off some energy, The Parenthood Indoor Playground at Toppen Shopping Centre is a great option! We recently visited this colorful and engaging play space, and while it’s not as big as Kidz Republic at City Square JB, it offers plenty of fun activities to keep kids entertained.

One of the best things about The Parenthood is that tickets can be purchased via Klook, which often has promotions and discounts. Plus, Klook tickets even come with a welcome drink and snacks, making it a great deal for families looking to enjoy some indoor fun without breaking the bank.

Let me take you through the different sections inside the playground and some exciting additional activities outside the main play area!

Inside The Parenthood Indoor Playground

The indoor playground itself isn’t huge, but it is thoughtfully designed with a variety of play structures that cater to different ages and interests. The vibrant colors and well-maintained equipment immediately make kids excited to explore!

1. The Multi-Level Play Structure

The heart of the playground is a multi-level climbing structure filled with tunnels, slides, and obstacles for kids to navigate through. My boys had a blast crawling through the tunnels, climbing up padded ramps, and sliding down the slides. While it’s not as spacious as some of the larger playgrounds, the space is well utilized to ensure kids stay engaged.

2. Ball Pit and Mini Slides

A staple in most indoor playgrounds, the ball pit here is a hit with younger kids. There are also mini slides that lead into the ball pit, making it extra fun for toddlers. My younger one had fun scooping up the balls and throwing them around, while my older boy loved diving in!

3. Trampoline Area

One of the highlights of the playground is a small trampoline area, where kids can jump, bounce, and giggle away. It’s not a huge trampoline park, but it’s a fun spot for kids to get some exercise while having a great time.

4. Role-Play Corner

For little ones who enjoy pretend play, there’s a role-play corner where kids can dress up and act out different scenarios. We saw costumes and mini play stations that mimic real-life situations, like a supermarket or kitchen. While we didn’t spend much time here, it’s a great area for imaginative play.

5. Separate Toddler Section

There’s also a smaller kids’ area specifically designed for toddlers, ensuring they have a safe space to explore without getting overwhelmed by bigger kids running around. Since my boys were more interested in the larger play area, we didn’t explore this section much, but it’s nice to have a dedicated space for younger children.

Exciting Play Areas Outside the Playground (Additional Charges Apply)

Beyond the main indoor playground, The Parenthood has additional pay-per-play activities outside. These games and experiences are unique, and we couldn’t resist trying a few of them!

1. Knock Mold Activity

One of the highlights for us was the Knock Mold Activity. The boys got to choose their favorite characters, and using a hammer, they knocked on a mold to reveal a cute character figurine. It was a fun hands-on activity, and they loved seeing their chosen character slowly emerge from the mold!

2. Excavator Scoop Egg Toy Game

This one was a hit! The boys got to control an excavator scoop, maneuvering it to pick up egg toys from a pit. It required a bit of coordination and patience, but they had so much fun trying to scoop up as many as they could. It’s a great game for improving motor skills and hand-eye coordination!

3. Other Paid Play Zones

Apart from these, we noticed a few other paid play areas, including arcade-style games and other interactive activities. Since we focused on the indoor playground and two additional activities, we didn’t explore all of them, but it’s great that there are more options available for families looking to extend their playtime.
