Ingredients
For the soup base
- Frozen soup stock
- Handful of Ikan Bilis or powder
- 5 Dried Scallop
For the white bee hoon
- Soaked Bee Hoon
- Meat
- 1/2 Chicken fillet
- 1/2 Pork fillet or 60g minced pork
- 1/4 fish fillet
- 1 Shrimp
- 1 Egg
- Choy Sim / Broccoli
Instructions
- Soak the dried scallop in warm water for 30 minutes till soft (so that you can tear the scallops into their smaller muscle fibers to add to the pot)
- Heat 1/2 tablespoon of the oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the garlic until aromatic
- Fry the bee hoon for 5 minutes and set aside
- Reheat the work and fry the meat and shrimp and set aside
- Combine soup stock, dried scallop and its soaked water and ikan billis (or add ikan billis powder)
- Add Bee Hoon
- Add Egg
- Add vegetables
- Add meat and shrimp
- Cool and Serve
